Company Profile:

We are looking for a part-time Membership Sales Representative to join our team and assist with membership enquiries and application follow ups. The successful candidate must have previous sales experience, ideally within a membership sales role. They will be working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Membership and will also provide assistance to the rest of the Membership team when required. This is a flexible role, mainly based from home with the opportunity to join the team in London as and when desired. The role would be ideal for someone returning to work. 

The role requires a strong understanding of our potential members’ requirements, interests, and needs so that you can work proactively to research and offer them the best membership options and suggestions, whilst also being keenly aware of the business side of our operations. This role is suited to someone who takes great pride in their work and has a real passion for creating a special experience for our potential members. We are a very friendly and enthusiastic group so a matching, team oriented manner will be greatly valued. Full training will be given on our operations and membership base. The salary is pro-rata and would be plus commission. 

THE ROLE

  • Work alongside Innerplace’s Head of Partnerships & Membership, implementing strategies to generate applications and ensure a strong membership ‘wait list’.
  • Understand in detail the Innerplace application journey and become an expert on all matters relating to it so that you can identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell services to assist with retaining existing Members and attracting new business
  • Develop innovative ways to grow the Membership base including outbound sales activities in order to develop new Member accounts and secure new business for Innerplace

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Membership sales experience is required, preferably within the luxury concierge / lifestyle management business although exact industry experience is not essential
  • A good understanding of the luxury lifestyle/ entertainment scene in London, UK and overseas would be desirable
  • A warm and charming personality, confident with excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Passionate about providing a bespoke, luxury service where nothing should be too much trouble
  • A passion for proactive sales and targets
  • Happiness to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident negotiating skills to obtain the most desirable membership choice
  • Demonstrated experience of working on confidential and sensitive matters
  • Ability to use initiative, pre-empt questions, and plan ahead, prioritise and organise
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Fluent written and spoken English

How flexible working works with us:
As a team we mainly work flexibly as we live in different cities across the UK, although we try and meet in our London office each week and regularly attend events, lunches and dinners in town to ensure we maintain an up to date knowledge of the very best the city has to offer our members. The candidate for this role would not be expected to attend events although would be welcome to do so if desired.
