Part-Time Accounts Manager - Port Talbot Salary up to £35,000 Pro Rata (20 - 25 hours per week)<br> An opportunity has arisen for a well-established, family run business based in the Port Talbot area. &nbsp; My client is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to come in and support the Financial Director with the day to day accounts and management of a small team. &nbsp; My client is happy to consider applications on both a temporary to permanent capacity or straight permanent basis. &nbsp; Reporting into the Financial Director on site, you will be required to oversee the day to day running of the accounts department. &nbsp; You will have responsibility for managing a small team (2 in the transactional team)<br> and deal with a variety of tasks. &nbsp; The suitable candidate will ideally be part-qualified (AAT)<br> with a background of working within an SME business dealing with all aspects of accounts and associated tasks. &nbsp; My client will also welcome applications from candidates who are Qualified by Experience, yet possess a strong technical accounting background, having worked within both financial and management accounts. &nbsp; The role requires a hands-on Accounts Manager who is not afraid of dealing with variety of tasks ranging from accounts, involvement with external HR with regards to payroll queries and liaising with operational teams to fully understand all aspects of the business. &nbsp; You will possess a 'can do’ attitude and enjoy liaising with suppliers/clients, both internally and externally in order to create strong working relationships. &nbsp; Key responsibilities will include: 1)<br> Manage accounts receivable and payables clerks, ensuring all transactions are processed accordingly within agreed timescales 2)<br> Acting as the key point of contact between accounts payable, operational teams and liaising with suppliers 3)<br> Liaison with operational managers to ensure site wide compliance on reporting of deliveries and hires 4)<br> Manage the fixed asset register and calculate monthly depreciation 5)<br> Reconcile weekly reports from site managers to asset registers 6)<br> Liaise with yard manager regarding stock and inventory 7)<br> Oversee payroll coding and resolve any queries between job costings and general ledger reports 8)<br> Deal with all CIS, DRC and process returns online 9)<br> Monitor key expenditure, fuel and vehicle costs for the business 10)<br> Deal with the administration and over-see a payroll, pensions, expenses and insurances for the organisation 11)<br> Assist with the production of finance information for budgets and forecasts You will possess strong Excel skills, ideally to intermediate level and have had previous exposure of working with a variety of accountancy packages would be highly advantageous. &nbsp; The role would suit a candidate who is not afraid to take ownership, is a good arbitrator in order to pull together various parties in order to ensure everyone complies with the process and controls in place. &nbsp; My client offers a friendly working environment, on-site parking coupled with other benefits. &nbsp; The role will be office based, part-time, 20 - 25 hours per week and my client can be flexible with days and start/finish times. &nbsp; If you are interested and keen to know more, please contact the office for a confidential discussion. &nbsp;
