The successful candidate would work predominantly in our Energy & Infrastructure team on a wide range of projects in various sectors including energy, transport and large development projects.
What our Planning & Environment team is known for:
We are the largest dedicated planning team in the UK with specialists covering a wide range of major projects. Our Energy & Infrastructure specialists, where this role is primarily based, cover all forms of energy, such as offshore wind, large scale solar, carbon capture plants, nuclear, energy networks and pipelines, and infrastructure, such as new roads, rail, airports and new settlements. Our clients include developers, funders, investors, local authorities and Government bodies.
Our breadth of experience coupled with our specialist knowledge means that, whether we are advising on a complex multi-million pound energy project or the acquisition, funding or sale of an asset, our clients receive the legal support they require, when and how they want it – often coupled with other legal services delivered by colleagues as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team specialising in Energy and Infrastructure projects.
Pinsent Masons has achieved more tier 1 rankings in The Legal 500 UK guide than any other firm, won the "Law Firm of the Year Award 2019 – Legal Business" for the second time and is recognised among the most innovative law firms in Europe by the Financial Times. Pinsent Masons was also named Law Firm of the Year 2018 by The Lawyer, and is ranked No 4 on the UK Stonewall Workplace Equality Index 2020 and named as one of Stonewall’s Top Global Employers 2020.
