Senior Technical Risk Engineer (Part-Time, Job-share or Full-Time)<br> Location: Home Based Closing Date: Tuesday 7th June 2022 The opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity to work within their Resilience Solutions business as a Senior Technical Risk Engineer. &nbsp; The role of the Senior Technical Risk Engineer is a homeworker role primary focussed on technical development but with an element of customer support. &nbsp; The majority of the role will be supporting the Technical Team Leader to deliver the technical strategy for a team of c50 Property Risk Engineers. &nbsp; There will be a requirement to create, review and approve technical standards, research and lead on key technical projects and ensure their technical integrity is maintained through the completion of technical quality reviews. &nbsp; The Senior Technical Risk Engineer is also a point of contact for the Team for technical queries and there will be a requirement to provide training&mentoring to colleagues. &nbsp; The role is also responsible for developing effective global and regional relationships ensuring the UK is effectively represented and deliver risk assessment&risk improvement services to customers and business partners in the Property line of business, acting as a recognised expert with an enhanced level of expertise in Property. &nbsp; This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. &nbsp; This is because they want the best people for their roles, and they recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time. &nbsp; Key Responsibilities: Create an environment where team members can achieve their full potential, through continuous development, with support, mentoring and motivation. &nbsp;Participates and provides leadership in Property Risk Engineering projects. &nbsp;Provide technical expert advice and comprehensive risk insight to team members&share expert knowledge through risk insights development. &nbsp;Completion of technical quality reviews. &nbsp;Create/review Property Risk Engineering Technical standards. &nbsp;Develop relationships both Globally and Regionally to ensure technical standards and deployment accurately reflects operational practices. &nbsp;Assess the quality of complex risks as described in the appropriate standard(s)<br> and related competency level and assess loss potentials in accordance with agreed definitions. &nbsp; Your skills and experience: AIRM, RICS, FIRM, MIFireE or GIFireE or a degree in an appropriate subject (e. &nbsp;g. &nbsp; Fire Engineering, Mechanical, Building Control or Chemical Engineering)<br>Extensive technical knowledge of appropriate risk management activities (e. &nbsp;g. &nbsp; fire, security, business interruption, extended perils, mmc, contingency planning and related risks)<br>. &nbsp;High level interpreter, able to disseminate specialised or complex information, instruction and training to others within their including senior management. &nbsp;Excellent customer relationship&presentation skills. &nbsp;Influencing, negotiating and consulting. &nbsp;The ability to discuss technical issues with experts. &nbsp;Ability to successfully liaise with senior managers throughout the organisation. &nbsp; The Reward; The salary for this role is up to £80k, depending on experience. &nbsp; Additionally, they offer an extensive benefits package including: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and the ability to buy/sell additional days3 paid volunteering daysCompany car via Zenith 12% pension contributionAnnual performance related bonus and pay reviewFull private medical cover/ contribution to medical coverDiscounted technology offersVirtual GP appointmentsFree flu jabDiscounted gadget insuranceDiscounted will writing service
