This well thought of, and long-established charity is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join on a permanent basis working a 30-hour week, Monday to Friday. &nbsp; Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be assisting with managing, developing, and reporting within the finance function to include: Producing management accounts and statutory accountsRunning a monthly payrollAssisting in the development of full cost recovery in project costingAssisting in the oversight of routine organisational financial processes and procedures (accounts, sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, expenses, pension scheme, health plan, Gift Aid, Friends Scheme, fixed assets, cash/bank transactions, reconciliations, year-end activities, record keeping)<br>. &nbsp;Assist in the preparation of financial information, including accounts, budgets, and forecasts to inform the management of new, existing, and potential future business. &nbsp;Analysis, evaluation, monitoring, and interpreting of financial information against set targetsAid in the development of financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk. &nbsp;Contributing to business development decisions including costing financial models. &nbsp;Supporting in the implementation of the planned new Finance PackageDeputising for the Head of Finance when necessary. &nbsp; This opportunity offers the chance to work for a highly reputable charity alongside a qualified Accountant and expand your experience and increase responsibility. &nbsp; Perhaps you are feeling like you are not progressing in your current role? If so, then please contact us - we would love to talk to you. &nbsp; The ideal candidate Part qualified AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (or equivalent)<br>Experience of VAT, particularly in the charitable or voluntary sectorEstablishing and maintaining constructive working relationships with a wide range of peopleHigh level of computer literacyGood verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skillsGood decision-making abilityA practical aptitude and good problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be studying an accountancy qualification. &nbsp; The charity offers hybrid working between home and office, and a salary of c. &nbsp; £25,000 - £28,000 (pro-rata)<br> depending on experience plus 23 days holiday (pro-rata)<br>, health plan, NEST pension, and continuous learning and development as appropriate. &nbsp;
