(Part-time)<br> Financial Accountant |Derby | £40,000 - £50,000 FTE | High Growth SME Macildowie Finance is currently working on a job offering the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing business, based in Derby. &nbsp; The Finance team is responsible for delivering solid financial insight across a group of businesses, which is constantly looking to expand and has recently won several new contracts of work. &nbsp; You will be working closely with Financial controller and FD and will be someone who has excellent attention to detail and a hard-working attitude. &nbsp; You will play a key role in the team by providing sound financial accounts and management accounting information So what is the job? Ensure that statutory accounts, tax returns and other regulatory financial requirements are met in a timely manner. &nbsp;Manage the audit relationship during the Financial audit and liaise with the tax advisors, establishing a high level of credibility and professionalism. &nbsp;Work with the FC, FD and financial advisors to develop and implement required changes for accounting and taxation with regard to international growth. &nbsp;Work closely with the FD, FC, Management Accountant and finance team to ensure all group reporting requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. &nbsp;Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports, including foreign currency transactions. &nbsp;Facilitate the collection and submission of customer specific payment applications in line with agreed timelines, fielding any necessary queries. &nbsp;Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported, review and reconcile as appropriate to check for discrepancies. &nbsp;Suggest updates and improvements for all accounting systems as appropriate. &nbsp;Collaborate with internal and external auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all appropriate regulations. &nbsp;Work with the FD to develop budgets and forecasts for the company. &nbsp;Assist the FD in preparing Board reporting and other financial information where appropriate. &nbsp;Take responsibility for managing and reconciling Balance sheet accounts as required. &nbsp;Establish and implement financial reporting systems and processes to comply with government regulations and legislation. &nbsp; Build in, and monitor controls where appropriate to prevent errors in data collection and calculation, and to ensure the processes are robust and compliant What are you like?
