REPORTING TO: Finance Manager (Global)<br> WORKING HOURS: 20-24 hours per week, work pattern to be agreed. &nbsp; You’ll need the flexibility to change working hours during busy times. &nbsp; LOCATION: Holborn Studios, Eagle Wharf N1, London AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Bringing accounts to Trial Balance KEY INTERNAL INTERFACES: All colleagues across the organisation KEY EXTERNAL INTERFACES: Clients and suppliers SALARY: £16 -20 hourly rate (£18-21K per annum)<br> A bit about DTV DTV Group started in 2004 and is still owned and run by the founders. &nbsp; We work with 60+ NGOs and iNGOs - the big and the not so big - in over 25 countries, covering a wide range of causes from animal (WAP, Cats Protection, PDSA, WWF)<br>, to development (UNICEF, UNHCR, Concern)<br> to medical (Sightsavers, Alzheimer’s Research, Marie Curie)<br>. &nbsp; Our core business: we are direct marketing fundraisers who help NGOs acquire new donors through direct response television and digital video. &nbsp; We use film to help to inspire current donors to continue to keep giving. &nbsp; We work with media agencies to help NGOs manage response effectively and deliver the best results possible. &nbsp; DTV London is our HQ with ~50 people. &nbsp; We also have offices in Hong Kong, Sydney, Seoul, Vienna and New Delhi, serving our International NGO's who are based around the globe. &nbsp; In total, around 200 people. &nbsp; This role will support the UK business. &nbsp; What are we looking for? We’re expanding our Finance team in London, and you’ll be part of a close-knit team of 3. &nbsp; Part-qualified or QBE with several years of experience in a finance function and looking for a new challenge. &nbsp; Hands-on and attention to detail approachAbility to be flexible and adaptableExcellent communication skillsExperience of Sage - desirable (not essential)<br>Strong level of Microsoft ExcelMedia agency or production/post-production accounts experience a plus The role You’ll be a vital part of our busy Finance Team, working with Account Managers and the Finance Manager to ensure smooth finance processes throughout the agency. &nbsp; Main responsibilities will include Raise, send and follow up on invoicesProcessing of media purchase invoicesReconcile invoices and identify discrepancies against budgetsMaintain projects registerManaging payroll for one entityAssist with year-end/audit when required You’ll need Understanding of IFRS Standards (preferable)<br>Understanding of VAT rules and regulationsUnderstanding and ability to work with multi-currenciesStrong Bookkeeping skills What experience would help? 2 years+ accounts experience, preferably in an agency environment or SME. &nbsp; You’ll need to know the basics of all aspects of Finance and Accounting and have good experience in at least two of the skills in the list above. &nbsp; Experience preparing payroll would be a particular advantage. &nbsp; And what will you get out of this?
