Tax Manager (part-time)<br> - Hospitality - London (flexible working)<br> - £55/60k base plus package Altum Consulting are pleased to be supporting an internationally revered hotel operator to secure a Tax Manager on a part-time (3/4 days a week)<br> basis, realistically only The business acts as the parent to several well-known brands in the UK and has an impressive portfolio of properties across several major cities. &nbsp; The successful candidate will be the key individual within the Central Finance team for all tax matters. &nbsp; Your key relationships will be with the Central Team and Exec to provide advice on all tax matters, our external tax advisors, the hotel finance teams, the parent company finance, and tax colleagues based in the UK and with HMRC. &nbsp; Key Responsibilities, Ensuring the group remains compliant with the full range of applicable taxesManage the UK tax compliance and provisioning process with support as required from external partiesPreparation of quarterly VAT returns for all of the UK groupAnnual income tax returns for non-resident landlord property companies (this is currently transitioning to Corporation Tax)<br>Reviewing monthly PAYE/NI calculations and coordinating with HR. &nbsp; Working with the HR department on annual PSA preparationManage and support planning/restructuring projects and coordinate with owners,Prepare tax budgeting, forecasting and plan all tax payments, working with our FP&amp;A teamManaging the relationship with external tax advisors, HMRC, and parent company finance and tax colleaguesEnsuring that tax matters are appropriately addressed in both internal structuring exercises and any material external transactionsLiaise with the Legal team to ensure all inter-company agreements are tax compliant First-line support for hotel finance and central teams on all tax queries Required Skills and Experience, CTA or equivalent qualification with strong academics3+ Years Post Qualification Experience in tax, ideally within industry Hands-on experience is required, this role is a broad mix of everythingPrior experience in tax planning, business support, and project management would be advantageousVAT experience desirableSomeone who keeps up to date with the changes in Tax LegislationA self-motivated individual who can manage multiple work streams and be flexible around deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills to service a wide range of relationshipsDemonstrate strong IT Skills, including MS Excel (advanced)<br>Hospitality experience desirable but not essentialIdeally will be a three-day-a-week position but other approaches are considered for strong candidates
