Bookkeeper - Part-TimeAbout Us/The ClientOur international client based in Northampton are currently seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join their team for 20 hours per week due to continued company growth. &nbsp; This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with prior bookkeeping or accounts experience to join a vibrant and friendly team. &nbsp;About the positionThe successful candidate will work closely with the internal administration and sales teams as well as the external accountant to complete all bookkeeping duties and month end reporting. &nbsp;The company use Jeeves accounting system however, experience using this system is not essential as full training will be provided. &nbsp;Duties Include:Nominal ledger entries, e. &nbsp;g. &nbsp;, prepayments, accruals, fixed asset depreciationBank Reconciliations and Cashflow reportingMaintain cashbookHMRC- Import Deferment statementsVAT returnsAssist with month end management reporting to meet group reporting deadlines, reports to include P&L, BS, TB and debtor / creditor ledgersCredit Control procedures and collectionsMonth end sales ledger reconciliationClearing freight inbound invoices from various suppliers (links with HMRC Deferment Statements)<br>Ensure Creditors are paid on time via electronic paymentsMonth end purchase ledger reconciliationSupport Group finance with the annual audit and any internal audit requestsAccounts and admin filingStock management/ stock takeAny other duties which may be reasonably requiredWorking Hours:20 hours per week between the hours of 08:00 - 16:30 Monday-Friday - Please note, our client is flexible with the hours required however, would ideally like the successful candidate to work 5 days. &nbsp;Salary and Package£12,000 - £15,000 per annum, pro rata. &nbsp;Company benefits schemeAbout the perfect candidate5+ years' experience working in an account's environmentAccounting AAT level 4 or similar desirableProblem solvingComputer literate, must be competent with ExcelTeam player but be able to work on own initiativeAbility to engage professionally with Customers and SuppliersAttention to detailSpare parts or Distribution Industry experience desirablePrevious knowledge of JEEVES accounting is desirable but not essentialIf you believe you are a perfect candidate for this role and wish to discuss the details in more depth, please get in touch today!Ashleigh Winfield - 01604 704 058 -
